On the Art Fair 'Fraeylema Rondom', between fifty and sixty artist present their works. The Art Fair is a yearly recurring part of 'Fraeylema Rondom' on the third Saturday in June. The market takes place on the front terrain of the Fraeylemaborg in Slochteren.
The most artist live and work in the Northern part of the Netherlands. Their works consist of several disciplines. In the art of painting: techniques as oil painting, acryl and aquarelle, but also pen drawings. Besides that you find jewelry, textiles, sculptures, silver forgery, ceramics and photography.
The interesting thing in this art fair is that the visitor meets the artists themselves. They are willing to give explanation about their work. A number of artists give demonstrations. Music, streettheatre and activities for children accompany the Art Fair.

Entrance
The entrance to this Art Fair is free of charge. You're welcome from 10.30 hours till 17.00 hours. Of course you can visit also the Fraeylemaborg and the forest-park on this day.
