In the Fraeylemaborg are performed yearly about 200 civil weddings. These are all the weddings from the municipality Slochteren and in addition to this also an ample number so called guestweddings. From all over the country bridal couples choose this beautiful location for their "big day".

The wedding services takes place in the Small Hall of the castle, a beautiful room with large windows overlooking the park. A large official portrait of Queen Mary Stuart from 1691 is hanging above the fireplace. In this room is space for about 40 guests.
